Halesia Tetraptera
Mountain silver bell grows into a taller tree with larger bloom than the shrubbier Carolina Silverbell. The black and white striped bark is more ornamental as well. Beautiful late May-June white bloom lights up a shady spot. This woodland native Carolinean prefers shade and good soil.
